Bookings We will be delighted to accept your booking provisionally by telephone and hold it for seven days to allow you time to return the completed booking form and deposit. All being well, we will then write to you, formally accepting your booking. We accept cheques, Visa, Delta and Mastercard. Deposit The deposit of £150 is payable in addition to the rental by credit card or cash. It will be refunded to you after your holiday less any deductions for repairs, replacements, topping up the diesel (if necessary) or late returns. This deposit is in addition to the Collision Damage Bond. Rent We need to receive your full rent at least 6 weeks before your holiday begins. If we have not received your rent by the date due we may have to offer the holiday to others. Mileage There is no mileage charge for the first 700 miles per week but after that the rate is 25p per mile. This is to cover the extra servicing and depreciation costs caused by high mileage drivers, whilst keeping costs low as possible for the majority of hirers. Insurance Our comprehensive insurance provides cover only for those nominated drivers who meet the requirements of age, fitness, driving history and occupation. Any other driver will invalidate the insurance and could render you, the hirer liable to prosecution; you would then be in breach of the Conditions of Hire. A proposal form for each driver will be provided and should be returned to us with the booking form. Insurance is for the UK only; Continental insurance has a (varying) surcharge. All drivers will be required to produce valid driving licences before vehicle hand-over.
